Terms and Conditions

  1. By placing an order or applying for a licence through our website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and warrant that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract and authorised to do so on behalf of your group.
  2. All our pantomimes are fully protected under international copyright laws.  All rights, including performance, broadcasting, recording, video recording and translation are strictly reserved.  None of our scripts may be performed, in whole or in part, without first seeking permission and obtaining a licence from Stage Right Creative Limited, nor may they be represented as your own.
  3. A licence must be obtained and a minimum of 12 printed scripts or an electronic PDF master copy purchased from Stage Right Creative Ltd before rehearsals commence.
  4. No part of a printed script may lawfully be reproduced by any means (including photocopying) or be transmitted or stored electronically without prior written permission.
  5. If opting for a PDF master copy, this is to be used for printing purposes only and not forwarded electronically.  Permission will be granted to print all scripts required for this one production only and every copy must be printed in its entirety, complete with cover page for copyright information.
  6. If dates are extended, extra performances added or venue capacity increased, Stage Right Creative Ltd must be informed immediately.
  7. A royalty fee must be paid, in advance, for each and every performance, public or private, whether the audience is paying or non-paying.  This is due, in full, no later than one month prior to the date of the first performance.
  8. No refund of the royalty fee for any cancelled performance will be made unless written notification is received at least 14 days in advance.  If notified 14-27 days prior, a 50% refund can be made.  If notified at least 28 days prior, a full refund is available, less 15% for admin costs.
  9. The pantomime must be performed in accordance with the script.  No major alterations, cuts or additions can be made without the prior written consent of Stage Right Creative Ltd.  This restriction does not apply to minor changes, inclusion of local references or lines leading into musical numbers.
  10. The licensee is responsible for the manner in which this script is performed, including safety, ensuring no offence or damage is caused and compliance with regulations.
  11. In all programmes it shall be stated: “By arrangement with Stage Right Creative Ltd”, in addition to the name of the author: “Written by Alan P Frayn”.
  12. The licence does not cover use of any copyright music chosen (including suggestions in the script), for which it is the licensee’s responsibility to obtain permission for its use and pay any royalties arising from its performance.
  13. No performance, in part or in full, may be broadcast or televised without prior written consent, nor recorded (digitally or on video or DVD) without first applying for a DVD licence, which is for amateur use within the group and private viewing only.  It does not cover broadcast, public screening or re-sale of copies to the public.
  14. Other than still photographs, the Licensee must not allow any part of the production to be uploaded to websites, social media or video sharing sites (including YouTube and Facebook), without prior written consent.
  15. All scripts are revised annually, so are supplied for one production only and, as such, must not be re-sold or purchased from anyone other than Stage Right Creative Ltd.
  16. A performance licence cannot be assigned or transferred by the licensee, nor may the licensee sub-license any of the rights therein.
